Privacy Policy
This policy explains what TeenyOps collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Effective date: April 11, 2026
Who we are
TeenyOps is operated by Quietly Made LLC in Washington, United States. If you have questions about this policy or want help with your data, email [email protected].
What we collect
- Account information, such as your email address, timezone, and profile details provided by GitHub or Google when you sign in.
- Authentication and security information, such as session records, IP address, and user agent tied to sign-in activity.
- Product data, such as monitor names, heartbeat tokens, heartbeat timestamps, monitor events, notification settings, and delivery history.
- Billing information needed to manage paid plans, such as Stripe customer and subscription identifiers. Payment card details are handled by Stripe, not stored by TeenyOps.
- Communications you send us, including support requests and feedback.
How we use information
- To provide the TeenyOps service, including monitor setup, heartbeat ingestion, alerting, billing, and account management.
- To secure accounts, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and keep the service reliable.
- To communicate with you about your account, support requests, billing, and important product changes.
- To improve the product based on service operations, support conversations, and customer feedback.
Cookies and similar technologies
TeenyOps uses essential browser cookies and similar local storage mechanisms needed to keep you signed in, protect sessions, and remember basic product preferences such as theme choice. We do not use advertising cookies. We also do not currently run third-party analytics or ad tracking on the marketing site.
When we share information
We do not sell your personal information.
We share information only when needed to run the service, such as with:
- Authentication providers like GitHub and Google when you choose to sign in with them.
- Stripe for subscription billing and customer billing management.
- Service providers that help us host the app, deliver email notifications through Mailgun, and support notification channels you enable, such as Telegram.
- Authorities or other parties when required by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, and security of TeenyOps, our users, or the public.
Data retention
We keep data for as long as it is needed to operate TeenyOps, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our agreements.
- Account records are kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward when needed for security, support, or legal purposes.
- Monitor events and notification history are retained according to product limits, account tier limits, and operational needs.
- Deleting a monitor removes that monitor and its associated recorded history from the application.
- Some records, such as billing and fraud-prevention records, may be retained longer when required for accounting, tax, dispute, or legal compliance reasons.
Your choices
- You can update your profile information inside the product.
- You can manage paid subscriptions through the Stripe customer billing portal made available inside TeenyOps.
- You can enable, disable, or disconnect supported notification integrations from your settings.
- You can request account deletion by emailing [email protected]. Self-serve account deletion is not available yet, and requests are handled manually.
If you request account deletion, we will review the request and remove account data we do not need to keep for legal, accounting, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
TeenyOps is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the product changes. When we do, we will post the updated version here and update the effective date above. If a change is material, we may also notify you through the product or by email.
